Ergometric Tests
Exercise Physiology is the Science, studying the acute responses of the human body and also the chronic adaptations to exercise. Ergometry is measuring all those changes, and direct the fitness training, in order to maximize sports performance, prevent injuries and identify gifted athletes.

Energy Systems
Aerobic Capacity (VO2max).

Aerobic means with air (from the Greek word "Aeras"= air), refers to the body's capacity, switching one form of energy into movement with sufficient quantity of air (oxygen). Supplies the body with energy for activities of low and medium intensities, lasts for long duration.

Anaerobic Capacity

Anaerobic means without air (from Greek words "anef"= without and "Aeras"= air), refers to the body's capacity switches one form of energy into movement without Oxygen. Supports high intensity activities, for short periods of time (less than 90 sec).
